Aulton Kohn, a sophomore at Syracuse University sealed a victory at the Big East Championships this weekend in the 60-meter dash. Kohn, a 2003 graduate of Beaufort High School crossed the line in 6.73 seconds, which is a Big East meet record and Carrier Dome record.
During Kohn's tenure at Beaufort he earned two golds at the 2003 State Championships in the 100 and 200-meter events. Kohn was also named 2003 Gatorade Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year in South Carolina. Kohn is majoring in Accounting at Syracuse.
