Lexington junior Ciara Williams won the championship girls New Balance Nationals Indoor championship long jump with a personal best 6.22 meters in Boston. WIlliams won the Chick-Fil-A Games 200-meter dash at Eastside in Taylors on March 7. The Wildcat is your 2025 SCHSL State Championships - AAAAA Div. 1 silver medalist in the long jump (5.82 meters)
Iron Sharpens Iron distance runner Gabriella Aycock finished fourth in the Nike Indoor Nationals 1500-meter run in the South Carolina top indoor time of 4:39.87. Aycock won the 2026 Dorman Distance Carnival Elite 800-meter run in 2:11.19 on Feb. 21. Watch the elite 800 race.
