Clover's Ella Nighbor won the 1600-meter and 2000-meter steeplechase races at the Glover Smiley Track Classic Saturday in Spartanburg. The Blue Eagle's steeplechase time of 6:58.71 is a United States 2026 top outdoor track and field rank and South Carolina track and field number one ranking on MileSplit South Carolina. Nighbor has two sub-5 minute 1600 races this season.

White Knoll's Cheyenne Love won the 400-meter dash at Cane Bay Track and Field Invitational in 55.79 seconds.

Wando's Ana Laurient won the 1600-meter dash at the Cane Bay Track and Field Invitational in 5:00.55.

Blythewood's Olivia Taylor won the Electric City Invitational 400-meter dash in 55.66 seconds.
