Shrine Bowl Run concludes season

Shrine Bowl Run team announced

COLUMBIA -- Shrine Bowl Run coach Eric Cummings, assisted by Jerry Kimbrell, announced 27 senior runners are members of the 2011 Shrine Bowl Run team following the SCHSL State Championships at Sandhills Research Center. 


Runners will arrive for the Shrine Bowl Run at 6:30 a.m. with the running starting at 8 a.m. 



2011 Shrine Bowl Game Ball Run Route Total distance is approximately 33.4 miles

Startat the front of the Shriners Hospital in Greenville, 950 W. Paris Road

Follow the perimeter road around the hospital to the front (north); Take 1st exit (entrance 2 across from

the Palmetto Bank) and turn right out of the entrance.  Take a left onto Henry Dale to get over to

Highway 29. Take a right onto Highway 29 (Mills Avenue @ CVS Pharmacy) 0.4 miles into run

LEG #1(Shriner's Hospital to 1.5 miles) Brett Vangsnes-Broome

1 mile: Lyn Street and Mills (Mill Lofts) cross Augusta, then Mills changes name to S. Church Street

1.5 mile: Crescent Avenue/Church Street across from KFC
