Maryland represented itself extremely well at the AAU Championships in Rock Hill, SC on December 3. Two Teams(Mid-Maryland XC and Howard County Striders) brought athletes ages 9 to 17 to compete in the 3/4/5k races. Three Maryland runners achieved top 25 finishes, earning them a huge, shiny gold medal. Members of the Lakeland Track Club, Central Florida Gliders, and Miami Milers traveled to South Carolina to compete in the AAU Cross Country National Championship today. Top finishers included Phillip Moeller, Kelsey Dunn, and the Lakeland Track Club midget girls team.
