Fort Mill\'s Willis Finishes Eighth John Olson Dec 5, 2005

Fort Mill junior David Willis (13th 4A State) finished eighth overall in the intermediate boys 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:30.60 at the 2005 AAU National Cross Country Championships, held Nov. 3 in Rock Hill.

Maryland represented itself extremely well at the AAU Championships in Rock Hill, SC on December 3. Two Teams(Mid-Maryland XC and Howard County Striders) brought athletes ages 9 to 17 to compete in the 3/4/5k races. Three Maryland runners achieved top 25 finishes, earning them a huge, shiny gold medal. Floridians Compete at AAU Nationals Jason Byrne Dec 3, 2005

Members of the Lakeland Track Club, Central Florida Gliders, and Miami Milers traveled to South Carolina to compete in the AAU Cross Country National Championship today. Top finishers included Phillip Moeller, Kelsey Dunn, and the Lakeland Track Club midget girls team.
