Meet information
“Scrimmage” Meet
Saturday, February 25, 2017
The Dorman High School Track Team would like to invite your team to participate in
this year’s Dorman Distance Carnival “Scrimmage” Meet. We hope that your
distance runners can join us.
Each team should be willing to provide at least one person to help out with the
meet.
Schools that competed last year are receiving this invitation. Please let me know as
soon as possible if your team will be participating. We will accommodate additional
entries as space allows. Athletes will be limited to one individual race.
Top runners will be seeded into the Invitational 800m/1600m/3200m. All others will
be seeded in the Open 800m/1600m/3200m accordingly, into sections as needed.
The Open races could possibly have a large number of entries.
The meet will be closed to entries once we have enough participants.
Teams are not required to wear official track uniforms since this is a pre-season
scrimmage. A school identifying t-shirt is suggested but not required.
Our school has a Mondo track surface.
Sprinters or distance runners can be entered in the 4x400 relay.
Entry fee: $30 covers both boys and girls. This will help to cover costs for security,
parking, coaches’ lunches, etc. There will also be a small admission charge for
spectators of $2.
If you are interested in attending, please send an e-mail expressing your interest
and commitment to enter to:

More information regarding entry into the meet will be sent out at the beginning of
February.
