Region 2-3A 2020

ALL Coaches and Spectators must wear masks at all times. Refusal to do so risks their team to be disqualified.

Athletes should wear a mask unless warming up, cooling down, or racing.

Athletes will wear their mask on the starting line until the starter says "Runners Set". At that time athletes will take their mask off and put it in their hand or on their wrist/arm. If wearing a buff, they will pull it down to their neck.

There will be no water provided, so athletes should bring their own.

The bathrooms will be limited to 1 athlete at a time and it will not be open to spectators/coaches. Please let your parents know.

Barring inclement weather, team tents are not allowed - this is to discourage teams standing close together.

Social distancing must be followed at all times.

Schedule:

Coaches Meeting at 8:30 AM

Awards at 10:50 or 5 minutes following the last race.

Medals for the all-region team (top ten finishers girls and

boys)

Official SCHSL Region Team Championship Trophies

Medals for top 3 JV

**Awards will be provided by the host school, with the exception

of Region Team Champions, which will be invoiced to the winning school.

Region Meet Details:

We ask that each school offer one representative at the finish of each race

Varsity will be limited to top 8, all are eligible to be considered for All-Region

All-Region will be top 10 male and female Varsity Athletes

Co-Ed JV Race, unlimited entries

Entries will be done on scrunners at region2aaa.milesplit.com

Entries will be due the Sunday (10/18) before at 11:59 pm

FREE PARKING. Any car parked along the road will be ticketed/towed by Greenville County Sheriff's Department.

PARKING:

Buses will enter/exit from the main entrance and park in the small, teacher parking lot.

Cars will enter/exit from the student entrance an park in the larger, student parking lot.
