UPDATE:

Due to rising COVID concerns, we will be cutting off registration for the 2021 Skyhawk Invite. The teams signed up at this point will all be admitted to the meet, and we look forward to providing a safe and fun race atmosphere. If you have signed up but not yet registered all runners, we will send out an email with a specific window for you to register your runners. We want to make sure all kids get a chance to run.

At this point, we expect to keep the race as all girls at 815, all boys at 845, and all MS runners at 915. We will update all coaches if we determine a need to separate the races for safety.

We request that all teams practice safe social distancing and wear masks when that distance cannot be maintained. After finishing the race, runners should proceed back to their team tent areas and refrain from mingling at the finish line. There will be water for emergencies, but runners should plan to bring their own water.

2021 RACE TIMES:

7:00 AM: Gates open at South Campus (1211 Veteran's Road, Columbia, SC 29209)

8:00AM: All girls (3.1 miles) race.

8:45 AM: All boys (3.1 miles) race.

9:15 AM: All MS (1.5 miles) runners race.

A course map will be provided in each team's packet. Additional copies will be available at the scoring tent.

Cost:

$70 for both genders

$35 for one gender

$10 Unattached/Single Entry

Checks should be made out to Hammond School and mailed to:

SCORING and AWARDS

All Girls and Boys: Top ten runners will receive T-shirts. Top three teams will be recognized verbally. Top teams will receive a trophy.

Middle School: Top three runners will receive T-shirts. Top two teams will be recognized verbally.
