Entry

Fee
- NONE - In exchange for an

entry fee, every school is required to provide at least two coaches/adults and

enough workers (students or athletes) to run off a field event.  Please send an email with your school's

preferences of field events to Jeff Johns @JohnsJD@spart6.org  by Monday Feb 28th otherwise I will simply

assign you to what's available
.  I will make every attempt to get you the event(s) that you ask for and will do so

on a first come/first serve basis.  I will assign schools that do not send preferences and then I will send out a

list of assignments on Thursday morning.

Schools Invited - All schools in South

Carolina are invited. Please be aware

that non-SCHSL schools may be entered.

will take you to the Meet Page where you will again click on the green "Online

and FA link will also be on the Meet Page. Do not contact Dorman for online questions. If you cannot find your answer in the FAQ's

or instructions on the site, contact John Olson at

wait until the last minute to learn how to use the site or try to solve any

problems.

 

Entry

Restrictions
- Each team

may enter up to 2 relays in all field events. Each field relay consists of 3 athletes.

*Each team may enter up to 2 relays in

all NON-laned running events. Additional relays can be requested for non-laned

events (email Jeff Johns before 10 a.m. on Tuesday for this request)

*Each team may enter up to 2 relays in

all laned running events. See the schedule below for the number of teams per

event.  *Athletes can only compete in 4 events.

 

Parking

* Bus parking will be at the football stadium


but drop off near the track will be allowed. Please do not park buses in the

spring sports area near the track.  Please

let any spectators know they can park across from the spring sports complex at

the HS in the parking lot which is across from the softball field.

 

Other Information-

Athletes in uniform may enter free.

Coaches, please enter with your team or have your

coaches pass.

There will be a $5 admission for all spectators.  Coaches make sure your athletes tell their

parents.

Concessions will be available all day.

The infield of the track is off limits for any warmups.

Athletes can warmup on the bottom fields near the tennis courts, but be aware of the discus and

javelin throwing areas.

Please stay off the baseball and softball fields.

Relay batons will not be provided, please bring enough for all of your teams.

Calls will be made prior to each event.  All runners must

report to the check-in (clerking) area.

Three attempts in throws and jumps  No tents in the home stands. Tents can

be placed behind the home stands or in the area near the concession stand and

restrooms.

Entrance & Exit to

the track will be through the large gate at the top near the first curve.

Field events will enter

through the bottom gate near the tennis courts the only field event to enter

the track is High Jump.

1/4 inch pyramid only size spikes allowed on

track.  They will be checked!

Coaches please take some time at

practice to explain the legs, staying in lanes, breaking, etc.  This will save us a lot of time prior to each

relay.
