In Class AAAA, Daniel girls will look for another championship after taking down Hilton Head. The Lions placed the top three runners in the state meet, all of whom return. Medalist Ally Wilson, a junior, placed with a time of 18:08.93, followed by runner-up Mari Cagle Lockhart, a senior. Senior Maren Sorber was third.

Hilton Head's top returners include junior Sarah Neville, who placed seventh, junior Sarah Cooke (18th) and senior Tori Herman (19th).
Runners to keep an eye on include all-state selections Emily Arenas (fourth), a Walhalla senior, and Aiken junior Victoria Colon-LaBorde (fifth).
