MileSplit SC is featuring Lydia Scanlon (class of 2031) of Lucy Beckham in this week's girls future stars feature.
Beckham finished second in the Bob Jenkins SCTCCCA Coaches Classic Championships 5K with a time of 19 minutes, 37.22 seconds.
Scanlon is the second ranked seventh grade runner in the MileSplit SC rankings during her first year running cross country at the high school level.

Outside of running the Bengal enjoys playing pickleball and spending time with her family.
"It's her first year running high school cross country, and she has done an outstanding job leading by example as a seventh grader," said Desciak
The 2025 South Carolina cross country season continues for Lucy Beckham with the Region 7-5A Championships Oct. 29.
