Meet information

ENTRY PROCESS: - Enter online at www.sctrackworld.us. MAKE SURE YOU ENTER THE CORRECT CLASSIFICATION RACE! You only enter if your Team Qualified or if you had an individual qualify. You may ONLY enter up to seven (7) runners per qualified team. This is due to the cost of the bibs and chip timing. At the meet, you will be able to substitute a runner by completing the form in your packet and returning it to us at least 15 minutes before the start of your race. Entries are due by 11:59pm Monday November 4th. Entries not received by this time will have to get permission from the High School League to enter and will be fined! The online entry will NOT be available until Saturday November 2nd after the qualifying meets.

All governing rules apply when it comes to uniforms, jewelry, and conduct. Violation of the rules will result in disqualification. Please review Rule 9, Section 6 & 7 of the NFHS TRack & Field and Cross Country Rule Book. The SCHSL will contuine to restrict undergarments to be worn as a single solid color above or below the knee.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

1. Parking will be the same as the Bob Jenkins Coaches Classic back in September.
2. Please inform your parents that parking will be $5 per car, even if they have a runner with them.
3. OFF LIMITS AREA is the entire parking area, and research area, and/or any building.
Any teams or athletes hanging out in the parking area will be disqualified from the event.
This is a request of Sandhills and we will enforce to be sure we can continue to use this great facility.
4. Remind your athletes that this is a research facility, and that they to stay out of the corn fields,
the Bamboo sector and any other site marked for growing purposes.
Pulling up any of their stuff will be a decision of Sandhills on how they will proceed with the infraction.
5. There will be police on site if any issue arises. EMS will be on site. Trainers will be on site.
6. Coaches need to have your teams to the starting area at least 10 min prior to the start for uniform check-in.
The VPs will do all check-ins.
Teams need to be in full matching uniforms and abide by all uniform and jewelry rules.
7. Please keep non-racers away from the starting area and coaches must leave their team box at the 5min call.
8. Please police your area prior to leaving and pick up all trash and bag it up.
9. We will be using chip timing and coaches and athletes are not to bring the numbers inside the finish area.
You can enter ONLY 7 athletes and can make an athlete swap up until 15 min prior to the start of your race.
10. Please drive safely and race fast!
11. Keep athletes away from all buildings and out of the research areas.
12. The course will be closed at 8:15 A.M. on the day of the meet.
13. HSL shirts, shorts, hoodies, hats, etc. will be available for purchase at the State Meet.

Regulations for State Meet.
a. Individuals or a full team may represent a school.
b. A team will consist of not less than five nor more than seven members.
c. Starting positions will be determined by draw.
d. Team scores will be determined by totaling the numerical position of the first five finishers from each team. The low aggregate scores will determine team winners.
e. A non-team runner's place will be omitted when determining team scores and each team runner will advance in the order of their finish.
f. If teams tie, the tie shall be resolved in accordance with the rule book.
h. No school will be allowed to practice on the course where the state series meets takes place unless it is a school’s home course. Teams may walk the course.

The League will furnish trophies and medals for the State Champion and the State Runner-up in each Class in the Boys' and Girls' Meets. Medals will be awarded to the first three finishers in
each Meet.
