SANCTION
This meet has a national sanction from the National Federation of High Schools. Schools will be invited from New York down to Florida and from across the country. All athletes must be a current member of their high school team. All schools must be a member of a State Association that is a member of the NFHS or an approved association. Coaches and meet officials will have a dinner Friday night at the stadium and will have complimentary breakfast, lunch, supper and snacks on Saturday. Please, no managers or students in any capacity. Athletes may purchase a pasta meal for $5 on Friday night at the stadium.
ENTRIES
All entries must be input through the MileSplit Network Each school is allowed to enter 2 athletes per event except in the 400m and 400IH. Each athlete may enter no more than 4 events including field events and relays. All entries must be entered by 8:00 pm on Monday, April 8th, 2024. No entries will be accepted after this date. An entry fee of $120.00 per team (boys and girls are separate teams) or $20.00 per athlete and or $40 per relay up to a max of $120 per team. This is an entry fee, not a participation fee. No shows are not entitled to a refund. All fees must be paid by credit card when entries are submitted through MileSplit.
CHECK IN
There will be no additions made to the meet after entries close. One-for-one substitutions may be made with the clerk of course as long as no one violates the participation rule.
WARM UPS
The track will be open after 4:00 pm on Thursday and Friday for workouts or inspection. Warm-ups will be allowed on the track until 8:15 a.m. on Saturday. Please do not set up any tents on the baseball or softball fields. During the course of the meet, only those athletes called to their events will be allowed on the infield or track.
LOCATION
Columbia, the State Capital, is located in the center of South Carolina. Interstates 20, 26, and 77 pass through Columbia. I-95 at Florence is 1 hour away by car. I-85 at Charlotte or Spartanburg is 1 1/2 hours. Atlanta, Knoxville, Durham, Wilmington, and Bristol are all 4 hours or less and Jacksonville, Columbus, Chattanooga and Roanoke are within 5 hours.
