Furman set for Saturday's SoCon meet Oct 30, 2013

GREENVILLE -- The Furman men's and women's cross country teams will compete at the Southern Conference Championship Meet on Saturday at Veteran's Park in Birmingham, Ala.  The meet will mark the 84th Annual Southern Conference Cross Country Championship for the men and the 29th for the women.  Admission is free to the public.  (via furmanpaladins.com)

Furman women win Blue Ridge Open Oct 20, 2013

BOONE, N.C. -- Furman took the top three individual spots, as the Paladin women's cross country team won the Blue Ridge Open Friday afternoon in Boone, N.C.  The Paladins scored 45 points for the win, defeating host Appalachian State, who took second place with a score of 64 points.

PENDLETON – Three years ago next spring, longtime coach Jim Kilbreth retired, following the same path his wife and fellow coach, Eileen, took two years earlier.  That move left only one husband/wife coaching duo in South Carolina cross country, Pendleton’s Warren and Pam Wheeler, who together continue to lead the Bulldog boys and girls to top finishes in Class AA.
