2018 CiCi's Sandhills Invitational

8:30a Girls Open Race (unlimited entries)

9:15a Girls Varsity Gold Race (10 entries) For large Member schools

9:45a Boys Varsity Gold Race (10 entries)For large Member schools

Course:

This course will be the South Carolina State Meet Course. The course has been modified slightly this year. It is still very spectator friendly. The Start Line and Finish Line areas will be flagged and off limits to all non-competing athletes, coaches and spectators. Please help us keep these areas clear by notifying your parents and athletes before the meet.

Directions from I-20:

Take exit 80 (Clemson Road) and head North about 4 miles down Clemson Road and you will see Sandhills Research Center on the right. Buses and cars must enter from Clemson Road directly across from the Sandhills Village shopping area.

Parking:

Parking attendants will guide buses and spectator parking. Parking will be $5 for all vehicles except for team buses and vans. Please follow attendants' directions to ensure quick and organized parking.

Restrooms:

Porta- Potties will be available for use. There will be no access to restrooms via the brick buildings on site.

Participation:

Open to any 7th -12th grade runners. Runners must be a member of their high school team.This meet is sanctioned by the NFHS for SC, NC, GA, and KY. If your school is interested and not on the sanction list contact us. Approved Home School teams will be participating in this meet. Non-member schools may compete in the Green Varsity races, Member schools will be competing in the Gold Varsity races.

Team Tents:

Team tents may be set up behind the brick building and outside of the flag area near the award stands (Joe Hudson Pavilion). No team tents will be allowed along the grassy area by the start and finish lines, next to the course or in the parking lot. Please keep all team areas and athletes away from the brick admin building and all barns. Trash bags will be provided with your team packet. Please help clean up your team area before you leave.

Awards:

The top 3 varsity teams in each Gold and Green Divisions and top 3 JV teams will receive a trophy.Varsity races- Top 15 individuals will receive medals;JV races- Top 10 individuals will receive medals.Awards ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Joe Hudson Pavilion.

Entries:

Entries will be done through scrunners.com. We will close entries at 11:59 pm on October 8, 2018. You will need to log in as your team's administrator and enter the meet. Please make sure that your rosters are updated and accurate before you do so.

T-Shirts:

A t-shirt vendor will be on site to print shirts as well has hooded items.

Entry Fee $10 per athlete, $60 per team (boys and girls team from same school is $100)
