   Mann girls captured their fifth consecutive Class AAA team title Saturday afternoon. Lower Richland boys finished first in Class AAA team competition with three athletes. 

Day one action at the state meet is almost complete. Girls AAA pole vault is underway. Partial results are now posted from day one. 

South Pointe coach Bob Jenkins told scrunners.com he will retire following the outdoor track and field season.

On a chilly Saturday morning, Sammy Owen was putting his coaching experience to good use. Instead of motivating the Easley High School cross country team, he was running with Raigan, his seven-year-old daughter, during The Greenville News Downtown 5K in late January.
