MYRTLE BEACH -- Six records fell on day one of the USATF State Junior Olympics at Doug Shaw Stadium.
Christ Church rising sophomore distance runner Caroline Jennings talks about how she prepared for the state meet and what it means to defend her titles. Jennings also discusses goals for the future and how she balances playing several sports.
USATF State Junior Olympics starts Friday at Doug Shaw Stadium. This is the second year the meet is held in Myrtle Beach.
The USATF State Junior Olympics deadline for entry is midnight June 3, according to scusatf.org, the official website of the state association.
