2021 CiCi's Sandhills Invitational
Saturday -- October 23rd
Teams can arrive after 7:30am
9:00am - Boys Varsity Race (7 athletes per team)
9:30am - Girls Varsity Race (7 athletes per team)
10:00am - Boys JV Race
10:30am - Girls JV Race
11:00am - Awards
This meet is open to 20 schools. Please email Matt Oberly at moberly@richland2.org to reserve your spot and receive the registration password. Once 20 schools have been reached, schools will be added to the waiting list.
Course: The course has been modified slightly this year. The Start Line and Finish Line areas will be flagged and off limits to all non-competing athletes and coaches. Please help us keep these areas clear by notifying your parents and athletes before the meet.
Parking attendants will guide buses. Parking for spectators will be $5 per vehicle.
Restrooms: Porta- Potties will be available for use. There will be no access to restrooms via the brick buildings on site.
Participation: Open to any 7th -12th grade runners. Runners must be a member of their high school team. Approved Home School teams will be participating in this meet.
Team Tents: Team tents may be set up behind the brick building and outside of the flag area near the award stands (Joe Hudson Pavilion). No team tents will be allowed along the grassy area by the start and finish lines, next to the course or in the parking lot. Please keep all team areas and athletes away from the brick admin building and all barns. Trash bags will be provided with your team packet. Please help clean up your team area before you leave.
Awards: The top 3 teams in the varsity and jv races will receive a trophy. Top 10 individuals in each race will receive medals.
Entries: Entries will be done through scrunners.com. We will close entries at 10:59 pm on October 19th. You will need to log in as your team's administrator and enter the meet. Please make sure that your rosters are updated and accurate before you do so. This meet will be using chip timing. Coaches must collect the chips from your athletes and return them to the check in tent. DO NOT BRING THEM TO THE FINISH LINE. There will be a $25.00 fee for any chips that are not returned.
