This year we have decided to give 100-percent of the money collected from parking to the new Sharonda Coleman-Singleton Scholarship Fund.

We have decided to postpone the Darlington XC Carnival until next Saturday, Oct. 17. This is due to waters once again being on the rise as flood waters from the Upstate make their way down toward the Low Country. I-95 is going to remain closed for at least a few more days. This would require schools south of Manning to route into Columbia before coming towards Darlington. The weather forecast has also played a role in our decision with rain being very likely Saturday morning. I realize that some of you may have already committed to the Sandhills Invitational, and will not be able to come next week. If you are unable to come next week and have already paid, we will hold your spot until next year, or I can inquire with our book keeper the process to have your school reimbursed. Please let me know as soon as you can if you plan to attend next Saturday so we can make arrangements for the teams attending.
